Hi! I'm Mikaela, the cake artist behind Nothing Else Batters Cake Company. I'm a mom of two wild, awesome boys who first inspired my love for baking— especially when it came to making their birthday cakes. What started as fun creations for family and friends grew into a passion for designing bold, one-of-a-kind cakes that taste just as good as they look. Inspiration also came from my love of music (yes, Metallica fans, you caught the reference!). Now, I'm proud to share my love of baking with the Orangevale and greater Sacramento community-- because nothing else batters more than a cake made with heart, a little rock 'n' roll, and a lot of butter.
